Class Work
Social Studies - In Social Studies, we are understanding the geography of Arizona.
Writing - We are working with a 3 x 3 structure for writing a five paragraph story. We are working on an imaginative narrative about a time a giant visisted the classroom. We are also involved in a pen pal program with USAA and we have written to our pen pals three times now.
Reading - Each week students are given a new fluency story to read. Monday is the cold read with practicing during the week and on Friday a hot read. Students chart their cold and hot reads to see growth.

Students are working with various stories for comprehension.
